On August 31, 2018, the 2018 Dongguan Port and Harbor Industry Waterway Dangerous Goods Skills Competition was hosted by the Dongguan Port and Shipping Administration in Lianxing Island Lianxing Reservoir Area. Eight employees from Dongguan Sanjiang participated in the competition.

The competition items are divided into four parts: theoretical knowledge competition, anti-chemical clothing wearing and extinguishing, oil hose docking and dismounting, and loading and unloading process simulation operation. The content of this competition mainly assesses the wearing skills of protective clothing, the correct operation sequence and method of hand-held fire extinguishers, the standard operation of flange connection, and whether labor protection and work habits conform to specifications.

After the fierce competition in the preliminary round, Dongguan Sanjiang Liu Qibiao and Chen Haijun were close to the top 10 and will represent Dongguan in the Guangdong Provincial Final. (Text / Luo Jinyu Figure / Liang Hua)
