On December 28, the 2018 port facility security incident and the port dangerous goods accident emergency drill were held in Sanjiang, Dongguan. The event was hosted by the Dongguan Port and Shipping Administration. More than 50 people from Dongguan Sanjiang and surrounding joint defense enterprises participated in the exercise. At the same time, the event specially hired two technical experts from the port and shipping industry to evaluate the drills and invited the safety production management leaders and department managers of the hazardous materials storage enterprises in the port area to observe and guide.

       In this exercise, the first innovation was carried out in a combination of “predictive plot” and “blind play”. That is, the city and port navigation bureau preset 4 drill courses in the early stage (not to inform the enterprise in advance), and determined by random lottery. The specific drill subjects and the location of the accident simulation require the company to quickly prepare and start the drill after drawing lots. The drill also temporarily added another accident point to fully test the deployment team's emergency response capability.

       Through this drill, the company's safety management and control has been further strengthened, and combined with the characteristics of the work at the end of the year, the implementation of safety responsibilities has been ensured, and the safe and orderly handling of hazardous materials handling in the port area has been guaranteed.
